Name: Russell William Koeppl Dates: Birth date: February 26, 1937 Death date: February 18, 2010 Obituary: Russell W. Koeppl, age 72, Rosholt, died on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born on February 26, 1937 in Chicago, the son of the late Charles and Anna (Hibsch) Koeppl. On June 1, 1963, Russell was united in marriage to Shirley Dobbe in Arlington Heights, IL. She preceded him in death on February 16, 2008. Russell was a mechanic and owned gas stations. He also was an employee of the Arlington Heights Parks Dept. for 20 years until his retirement. Russell was very gifted in building, remodeling several homes. He also enjoyed tinkering with small engines and watching old movies. Survivors include two children, Pamela (Dennis) Douglas, Rosholt, Terry (Susan) Koeppl, Rolling Meadows, IL; five grandchildren, Erin and Zachary Koeppl, Jason, Derrick and Amanda Douglas; one sister, Dolores (Bob) Bentz, one brother, Chuck Koeppl Jr. and several other relatives and friends.
Visitation: Visitation will be on Saturday February 20, 2010 from 12NOON until the time of service at the church. Service: The funeral service will be held at 1:30PM on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Faith Lutheran Church, Rosholt. The Rev. John Poffinbarger will officiate.
Cemetery: Interment will be in Alban Cemetery in the spring. |
