COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS, THE
The Compassionate Friends is a self-help support group for families who have experienced the death of a child. The local chapter has a parent group and a sibling group. We gather to listen, to care, and to understand each other in the process of grieving, healing, and reinvesting in life. Our greatest strength as bereaved families is the unity we find in shared experiences that removes feelings of isolation, gives us a place to "belong," and gives us hope that together we can make it.
